For the holidays, director Todd Phillips shared with fans a series of new looks from Joker: Folie à Deux. The scenes from the sequel to 2019’s Joker show Lady Gaga and Joaquin Phoenix in character expressing the different sides of their characters.
“Wishing everyone a happy holiday and a beautiful new year. Oct 2024,” wrote Phillips in his Instagram post caption. The upcoming film sees Joaquin Phoenix reprise his role as Arthur Fleck/Joker, while Lady Gaga makes her appearance as a new rendition of Harley Quinn.
Joker: Folie à Deux serves as a sequel to the psychological thriller that saw Joaquin Phoenix score an Academy Award for Best Actor. The film will take on a unique genre move and stand as a musical film as shared by director Todd Phillips.
