Nissan Motor and Honda Motor are embarking on merger negotiations with the goal of uniting into a single entity by 2025 to strengthen their position in the global market.
The plan includes forming a holding company that may also bring Mitsubishi Motors into the fold, creating a powerhouse with over 8 million annual vehicle sales.
This alliance follows their earlier collaboration on shared components and software, trying to better compete against major players like Toyota and Volkswagen.
