Doggie day care

Pooch pampering has been taken to a whole new level, thanks to the Delano resort at Mandalay Bay. Bringing new meaning to the term “manservant,” guests can choose to have their pooch checked on by staffers in 10-minute increments. Friends of Fido will also take him or her for walks, feed and change water bowls, and provide potty breaks throughout the day. Certain packages even include text message or photo updates of your four-legged friend. The Delano also offers a full doggie dining menu. (So much for “ruffing” it).

Pet-friendly room rates start at $129. A fee of $75 per day, per dog is applied to the room. Doggie Butler Services range from $25-$65. Find full details and book online.

Culturally-trained butlers

Did you know there is only one butler training program in North America? Neither did we, but Aria’s Sky Villa butlers are required to attend the intense hands-on program. Trainees receive thorough education on the differences in hospitality based upon nationality (particularly related to meal presentation and tea services). These well-trained stewards will attend to every nuance, making all guests feel comfortable and welcome, regardless of where they hail from.
