Started as an internet blog by Chicago native Cole Bennett out of high school, Lyrical Lemonade has grown to become one of the most prolific and recognizable studios for hip-hop music videos. Having worked with the likes of Ye, Juice WRLD, and Vic Mensa, recent works from Bennett’s multimedia company include a special trailer for Minions: The Rise of Gru and the MV for Central Cee‘s viral track, “Doja.”
After linking with Jordan Brand back in 2020 for a limited spin on the Aerospace 720 silhouette, Lyrical Lemonade now teams up with Nike for a minimalist take on the Air Force 1. The upcoming pairs arrive in white tumbled leather uppers featuring bright yellow lateral Swooshes and Lyrical Lemonade’s signature juice box logo stamped on the lateral heel counter and insoles. Nike branding on the tongue tabs arrives in black and crisp white rubber sole units round out the classic look. Delivering the special-edition pairs is a blue and yellow shoebox with the slogan “Think Deep, Don’t Sink, Just Do It” printed on the lid.
“Whether walking to class or chasing down a dream, this shoe can be the first step on whatever journey is next. Think Deep, don’t sink. Just do it,” writes Lyrical Lemonade in the description.
