Back in June, the imminent launch of the Born x Raised x Nike SB collection, highlighted by the duo’s take on the SB Dunk Low, was postponed due to the death of Born x Raised co-founder Chris “Spanto” Printup. Now, the brand has shared a release date for the capsule — listing September 28 as the big day. Stay tuned for specifics as it’s likely to initially launch via Born x Raised and select skate shops with a Nike SNKRS release to follow.
The city of Los Angeles, and the streetwear community as a whole, continues to mourn the tragic loss of Chris “Spanto” Printup, co-founder of Born x Raised. As a result, Nike has pulled the upcoming Born x Raised x Nike SB Collection from the SNKRS platform, including the much-anticipated SB Dunk Low and its complementary apparel.
