CALVIN HARRIS LIFTS BAN ON EX-GIRLFRIEND RITA ORA’S MUSIC [DETAILS] | #iRockParties

Calvin Harris and Rita Ora have made up, and we can once again enjoy the sweet music they’ve made together.

After a nasty breakup in 2014, Harris put a “ban” on his collaboration with Ora. Thus, preventing her from performing her single “I Will Never Let You Down,” which hit #1 on the UK Singles Chart — or releasing any of the material they made together for her album.

Ora was supposed to play the song live at the 2014 Teen Choice Awards, but was forced to back out. Harris responded publicly on Twitter by saying: “You’ll only hear one side of the story re choice awards because I choose not to talk to the papers about every aspect of my personal life. But just know I had a damn good reason.”

Now, the Harris/Ora “ban” has been lifted. A source told The Sun: “Late last year they got in touch and sorted things out. It was such a relief to both of them that they could move on and put things behind them.”

This isn’t the only time Harris has found himself at the center of he-said-she-said-drama. More recently, Harris was accused of not properly crediting ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift for lyrics she’d secretly written for him under a pseudonym, in “This is What You Came For” feat. Rihanna.

Even though the EDM legend and pop sensation (we’re talking about Ora again) are no longer, they still sound like music to our ears!

PHOTOS/VIDEOS: LAMBORGHINI HURACAN PERFORMANTE | #iRockParties | Sponsored Content

The Huracan was already an impressive piece of engineering. It only gets better with the Lamborghini Huracan Performante. At its heart is the most powerful V10 Lamborghini has ever produced, outputting 640 hp, and paired to a seven-speed dual clutch transmission. It’s 40kg lighter than the next-lightest Huracan, with forged composite used in the front and rear spoiler, bonnet, rear bumper, and diffuser. A patented active aerodynamic system closes and opens flaps in the front, and rear providing added downforce or lower drag, and the stiffer suspension makes for an even more engaging drive.

As a result, it can move from 0-62 mph in just 2.9 seconds and hit a top speed of over 200 mph, enough to lap the Nürburgring in just six minutes and 52 seconds (Video(s) Below).

MTV Revamps Annual Award Show to Become MTV Movie & TV Awards | #iRockParties

Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes.

MTV isn’t just celebrating the best of the best when it comes to movies anymore—it’s tackling television! The network announced Monday that the 2017 MTV Movie Awards will also include TV categories and is officially renamed (drumroll, please…) the 2017 MTV Movie & TV Awards.

The star-studded ceremony, which in the past has seen appearances from the likes Gigi HadidZac EfronRyan Reynolds and more, will air live from the Shrine Auditorium in beautiful Los Angeles on Sunday, May 7, 2017.

And while a host, nominations, presenters and performers will be announced at a later date, we expect big things from the people who brought co-emcees Kevin Hart and Dwayne Jonhson under one roof last year.

Additionally, MTV will host its first-ever Movie and Television Festival in the hours leading up to the big show. Per a press release obtained by E! News, pop culture fanatics will be treated to live musical acts, special guests and delicious food in the area right outside the Shrine Auditorium.

To put it this way, picture it as a daylong party to precede what is sure to be a showstopping red carpet and even more unforgettable award ceremony.

Which stars do you hope to see step out in style for the 2017 MTV Movie & TV Awards? Sound off in the comments!

Why Nicki Minaj Called Selena Gomez and Ariana Grande “Low Key Savages” Amid Remy Ma Drama | #iRockParties

Nicki Minaj‘s new track is catching some attention from people other than Remy Ma.

Hours after the rapper dropped fresh music with Drake and Lil Wayne titled “No Frauds,” several familiar faces in the industry can’t help but show their love for the song.

Thanks to social media, Nicki witnessed Selena Gomez, Ariana Grande, Tinashe and Jhené Aiko listening to her new track.

As a result, she couldn’t help but express gratitude in her own unique way.

“#SelenaGomez #JheneAiko #Tinashe #ArianaGrande what’s funny about this, is that all 4 of them look so sweet & innocent to me but they’re all low key savages I guess Lol,” Nicki shared on Instagram Friday afternoon. “Didn’t expect this but love u girls so much for reppin.”

She added, “Pretty Girls Let Your Light Shine BRIGHT  #BadBtchsLinkUp #TheyDontWantNoFrauds.”

For those who aren’t aware of how significant the song is, “No Frauds” symbolizes a response to Remy Ma’s diss track that has made headlines since February 25.

In Remy’s song titled “Shether,” fans listened to the rapper accuse Nicki of everything from plastic surgery to infidelity.

Meanwhile, Nicki mocked her enemy’s single with the lyrics: “You can’t be Pablo if your work ain’t sellin’ / What the f–k is this bitch inhalin’? / I would’ve helped you out that pit you fell in / I am the generous Queen! Ask Ms. Ellen,” she rapped. “Tried to drop ‘Another One,’ you was itchin’ to scrap / You exposed your ghostwriter, now you wish it was scrapped.”

In fairness, Selena, Jhene, Tinashe and Ariana could all be totally out of the loop in regards to Nicki and Remy’s drama. In fact, they could just be appreciating a hot new track that has already climbed the charts.

“Broke another record today b/c of u guys,” Nicki wrote on Instagram after learning “No Frauds” is the first song by a female rapper to reach the No. 1 spot on iTunes.

Calvin Harris Congratulates Ed Sheeran on Beating His Record With a Giant “F–k You” | #iRockParties

Calvin Harris has some deep love for Ed Sheeran.

On Friday afternoon, the world-famous musician learned the news that his friend had accomplished a new music record. And while that record was previously held by Calvin himself, that wouldn’t stop the record producer from sending a special congratulations.

“Ed Sheeran just beat my UK record top 10s from 1 album in ONE WEEK,” he shared with his Twitter followers. “Congrats Ed but also f–k you I love you but also f–k you ❤@edsheeran.”

The hilarious (and innocent) tweet comes after nine of Ed’s songs from the album ÷ (Divide) made the Top 10 on the U.K.’s Official Singles Chart.

Calvin’s third album titled 18 Months previously held the title with hits including “Feel So Close,” “We Found Love” and “I Need Your Love.”

It’s been a big month for Ed who recently celebrated his newest songs with a performance on the Honda Stage at his iHeartRadio Album Release Party in New York City.

In addition to climbing the charts, the singer recently announced a North American tour that will kick off on June 29 and conclude October 6 at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville. Concerts tickets will go on sale St. Patrick’s Day.

“I’m spending four months in America,” Ed shared on the Today show. “It’s the most time I’ve spent in any continent at all. We’re going to put this tour on sale and see how it goes, and then maybe come back next year for some more.”

“It’s all about the crowd and whether the crowd gets onboard with it,” he explained. “If someone connects with you, it doesn’t matter how far away you are, if you can get them connected with a song.”
